Led Zeppelin is doing a one time only show somewhere in the UK. Tickets for that show is $400!!!!! THAT'S HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!  But there are people stupid enough to buy tickets at that price. |

it's called inflation, folks, and its going on ALL over the world. not just our government but all of em. the house i lived in 30 years ago that sold for $77K is now for sale @ $2.5 million - gas is relatively cheap when you put it in perspective. in england its about $8/gal - and people do drive 'cos public transport only goes so far. its a shame but radical one is right the only way to stop gas going up is to get out of yer car! and maybe ride with someone else? or learn to teleport yourself, now there's an attractive idea!
if you want to pay the price its worth it, but the led zeppelins of the world are always expensive and who wants to pay that kind of money to see a hot air machine?

another band unanimously slagged by the "critics" - couldn't play, couldn't sing, blahblah; i love lydon's remark that "nobody can't play more brilliantly than steve jones" which goes for so many pioneers and renegades in music through the ages...anybody that's ever been any good has been out of step with the ruling paradigm.
and you can bet they won't cost as much as led zeppelin!
