In response to the BC web site and BB being down for the last month, I have decided to start yet another BB so that we can continue our conversations/cheap shots/reviews. The ball's been rolling too fast to come to a grinding halt. Don't know how long this forum will last, but hopefully it will tie us over until the web site comes back. Cheers! FBL

Actually FBL....thanks. I have been scrambling to find anyones email address from the old board and I found out I didn't have a one...bummer, but it's nice to be back with other BC souls

The latest is that the new album is being mastered and should be out sometime in April. As always, nothing is ever 100% in stone but the album is coming soon. From what I've been told, this one is going to be really eclectic. There's a bit of psychedelia, blues, heavy metal, and all out balls-to-wall jams. AND Duck makes a singing debut. That's all I know for now.....Really can't wait for this one.....

Hi guys....finally got on......for some reason it was a hell of time to do it....oh well....it is great that fbl got this on since so much is happening right now....the tour should be in the Summer....can't wait!

I guess I would like to hear anyones answers to a few questions....
#1: what actually happened to the website and BB?
#2: Any and all news and updates on the new recording (label, songs, special guests..etc)
#3: any touring info in support of new cd
#4: an update on the "reunion" tour (dates???)
#5: whats going on with PW is he OK? is he a part of any of the near future plans?
anyone? I need details so be long winded...

Yeah i wish Mr. Peterson would drop a note here, since there is no other outlet. His email is down (the one connected to the website). It seems that he is doing some stuff with Mother Ocean. Some local gigs in California. Dunno if anyone has contact with Tony Rainier. he might be able to confirm.
My guess is Duck is mastering the cd. When that is done we shall hear about a tour. At least i hope they tour to promote the new cd. I would also hope that they announce sooner so that the word can get out in our respective local towns or cities.
A banner in .pdf would be nice so that the 1% can download and print and pin up at bars, campuses, record stores (if there are still any) and generally pass around.
You guys or gals on the coast may know more.

Thanks a lot for kicking this board off guys. If only our pal FeatheredFish would drop in....anyway, I'll answer a few of the questions posted.
1. Don't know exactly when the new album will be released, but it is targeted sometme in March or April (well March is almost over but it would be cool if it came out on my birthday!). As you know, no band ever gets their records released at the time they target.
2. Songs: Some of the titles that I heard were being recorded were "Young Lions In Paradise (this could be their next huge hit imho)," "Alligator Boots," "No Relief", "Fruit & Iceburgs" and yet another Eddie Cochran tune. Don't know what will actually make it to the album but the band is really excited about how it was turning out last time I spoke with them.
3. The tour is supposed to be this summer. They will try to hit some of the major cities.
4. The reunion? Are you referring to the one with Leigh?
5. Where's Paul? I'm sure someone out there has that answer....
6. And no, Dickie did not officially change his name to "Thingyie" You must have him confused with Yngwie Malmsteem (vomit!).
Keep in mind that some of this info is subject to change. An exciting dynamic about BC has always been that things don't actually happen until they actually do.
