Actually Buzz, KISS has already come up with that concept and are actually considering it. They are the money grubbers of Rock & Roll. The only reason the Stones didn't beat them to that idea is that Mick Jagger is too egocentric to let anyone else play HIM. Plus, who else can be Keith! Glad you found your way DewDude. I never had your email address so I wasn't able to contact you about the board. Please contact Yage. I think this is everyone that I have personally met.....

ahh..you know, i was sitting here earlier thinking that..then was like..i don't have his email...
but then..i smoked a bowl and remembered...he had his camera at Krugs....long story short yay for GMail! But yeah..i did meet you, even if it was only briefly..and even then i stood behind you when Cheer was up on stage (my poor poor audiophile ears...but, they've had the honor of being damaged by the Cheer)...but you're also in the background of the photo of me and dickie. I shook Isis' hand..i think that was about it. By the time yage had gotten there i think i had downed two beers and had two more by the time they got on stage.
Buzz, it's cool man..it happens. I had kinda gotten busy and foregotten about the forum for a while..and it was funny like, i only found out about the site going down last week when i tried to go because i wanted to tell you a funny little story. I was driving through DC last week..and i had my mp3 player going on random..and right as i pulled up to a bunch of hookers standing around (14th street!)...Streetwalkin Queen popped up...i laughed and cranked it up..the loaner car had a nice system in it.

Dewdude mentioned the old site being there in theory...well some of it can be accessed in practice using the Internet Archive. The IA was last updated in early 2005 and doesn’t appear to include any photos, but at least some of the text is there. Here is a link: web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.bluecheer.info/index_bluecheer.htm The IA is quite a useful tool for checking out disappeared sites, but you have to know the exact url of the site you are looking for...it’s not searchable by keyword. It doen't seem to archive message boards and the like I suspect some of the old site is as yet still in Google’s cache if you use the right keywords to bring it up.

So glad to see these names again. Thanks FBL for taking the initiative. Would love to know what the hell happened.
Dewdude was kind enough to drop me a line...he is very considerate of this old guy!
After the Maryland gig I sent a few video stills to Ivy who forwarded some of them to Duck. To my suprise I got a thankyou from someone claiming at least to be him. I will look it up this weekend and forward the address of this group to him.
Where is IVY? I have emailed her several times with no response but will try agian.
And about the song list: FRUIT AND ICEBURGS!!! Wow! I guess this means RH and DP have talked.....Would like to have been a fly on the wall for that one.
Hope we can round everybody up..........

the domain being owned by domain squatters was wrong, i thought it was because of the generic looking page..but the domain registration info still says DP owns it..however, enom's domain lookup service keeps former domain registrants in thier database for up to a year, depending on how long they'll "hold" a domain before releasing it back into the wild. So a website like whois.sc shows what looks like an actual registration page...but...querying the actual enom server says it expired on the first of march and has an absolute deletin date of 3-1-2007.
I'll talk to Ivy and find out who exactly owns the domain and whatnot, maybe we can get stuff back up.

I love this single thread format. Kinda reminds me of the original board we had on iMusic. You old timers will understand.

Thanks Riff for the link.
Interesting that CHRIS ZIEGLER know so much about BC and RH...and I love his commect about them "making magic".
I could use some more magic in my own life.
I wonder if I can hold my breath till the CD comes out?

waddya mean Yage?
Some illness in the family? ...hope not.
Magical happens when we hardly notice it. Gotta look for it. Back in the '60's as some would say, it was a magical time for music. At the time, back then, I hardly would call it that. Heck, I thought it would go on and on and on.
But now I know, it was a magical time.
We could be entering another magical time. Don't know just yet......
