In one of life's little ironies, it was recently announced that Philips is buying the company that I work for. We had an all-employee meeting today and it was a little weird seeing that same Philips logo on the Power Point presentation as on those old Blue Cheer record labels. At least now we have something else in common - working for Philips. I hope they treat me better than they did BC.

Maybe you'll be working for someone who actually knows where the master tapes to all the BC albums are (including the outtakes!). It would be nice if OutsideInside got the remastering it so deserves!

Nice thought, but highly unlikely. Keep in mind that I'd by working in the healthcare division of a global conglomerate that employs over 130,000 people. Philips will probably just put their imprint on our products and suck away our profits. And so far I haven't found anyone here who even remembers Blue Cheer.

Philips will probably just put their imprint on our products and suck away our profits. Same thing happened to Randy Holden during his tenure in Blue Cheer and his work on the New! Improved! album. |

In all honesty...Randy ripped Blue Cheer off and should fucking PAY THEM for the chance they GAVE him to record with them. If it weren't for his short but sweet tenure with Blue Cheer, would he actually have gotten to be the footnote in history that he became? Let's call a spade a fucking spade! AND if Sir Guitar God didn't realize that on some level, would he have gone through the trouble of attempting to steal the Blue Cheer name? Enough wasted spit on this guy. I'd rather talk about Norman Mayall or Rueben DeFuentes. Fuck you Festooned Piglips!!! Will you die already!!!!
