You know its funny a band like Gentle Giant was never ever commercial either not one hit song I think the closest thing they got to commercialism was the album, “FreeHand” They used to open for a lot of bands back in the early to mid seventies like Tull and even Sabbath - but this is one band I would love to see re-unite and do a tour but unfortunately doesn’t look too apparent. The creative level and musicianship to me are on a level by themselves but they are the type of band you either like them or not,……I can go from hearing heavy stuff like BC and AC/DC and then listen to the intricate more keyboard oriented bands like GG , ELP and Mahavishnu - I think because some of this music was so out there and the complexity of it as well which is why I think a lot of the prog bands tend to get lost by the general population …a lot of it appeals to mostly other musicians – but you are fortunate to have seen Emerson with The Nice that must have been an amazing show Feathered,…I have have to tip my hat to the Brits they have produced some of the best bands and musicians I've ever heard
