Paul Whaley In NY?

I live in SI, NY and this was in the local paper a few weeks ago; causing my brother to run down and tell me Paul Whaley was living in our own neighborhood!

Someone I know has spoken to the Paul Whaley imposter over the phone and he questioned him where he lived and said he lived in Staten Island but he confronted him saying the real Paul Whaley lived in Germany the guy then replied that there are several different Paul Whaleys and my friend who spoke to him then told him to get the ---- out of here,…..than the imposter immediately hung the phone up on him,….this all came about because he was talking to some youngster rockers at a rock convention and Blue Cheer came up into the conversation and the youngsters said that they knew Paul Whaley and they had the imposters phone # - the person whom I know had tried to tell him that the real PW lives in Germany and had just finished a tour in Europe - at first the kids didn’t believe him but then as the discussion went further they started to learn that they have been bullshitted by this guy in Staten Island & that was when they gave his phone number to my friend and he called him and confronted him on it,….apparently there is still some folks out there being deceived by this guy and I know even though we shouldn’t give this guy publicity with this nonsense I’m posting this because I think the BC followers, fans and friends should be made aware of this in case anyone comes across someone who may have been or try to be deceived by this guys bs,……it’s even gotten so where some articles are being written like the one above leading this thread – besides there really hasn’t been anything new lately and being I was just informed of this I wanted to post this onto the board,…..the guy must know that BC has been active the past
four years but realizes he already has been going around using Whaley’s name to try and impress other people who aren’t aware and is slowly finding out otherwise and therefore cannot use someone e;se’s name because it’s too far gone with him being a Paul Whaley imposter,…..I wonder do the other members in his band know or are they in on the gag as well

This is actually fucking funny as shit. Either this guy had the brown acid or he's the world's worse bullshit artist. So, now that he's being called out, he's claiming that Paul Whaley is actually a stage name and he was the orginal one that was in the band when they formed in good old psychedelic Staten Island! Yeah.....and Randy Hammon really IS Randy Holden after all and that BC was RANDY's band....

I wonder if this guy is the same one that called Dickie in that studio that time in 1969 claiming that he WAS Dickie Peterson and that he'd better stop impersonating him or else he'll sue him.

hey! lay off staten island! it's not her fault! there was just as much acid in ny as in cali in those days...but this is pathetic..the guy acts as if EVERYBODY that was around back then must be dead! the fact that he is claiming whaley was an alias all along may make it legally hard to sue him but he is definitely impersonating someone else, and changing his story to suit himself...i wonder if anyone on staten island remembers him being paul whaley back then? it's a very small place. this is turning into a case of identity theft isn't it?

And I got nothing against NY. Matter of fact, the best BC gig, actually the BEST gig I ever saw was in the bourough of my birth, Brooklyn!

I was poking fun at SI because everyone knows BC came out of the SF psychedelic scene. If you're gonna lie, at least get your facts straight first.
