Blue Cheer and Family:
are asking for the participation of your thoughts and/or comments on Blue Cheer. They can be positive, negative or if BC had influenced you in any way.

These comments may be used for the
upcoming 1st official Blue Cheer DVD,
which will also include a documentary extra.

The comments have to be done on a video or dvd format and be sent by August 30th.

And yet another potetial worthwhile thread destroyed once again by the usual suspects (and I don't mean Leigh Stephens either). Do you guys really not want the band to do any new projects or is it the fact that Isis is connected to it in some way?

I have been with Dickie many times and IsIs and they love me, both of them, dearly
and yes it does appear that the same numb nuts are up to it again and trying to sabatoge
the best of FBL's intentions . But you know what it is OK and they will get some great stories for the DVD I just hope the music part is over the top.
With me and Dickie and Isis on boards I am sure the entertainment will be wild .

What kind of boards? I like Skateboards. I`ll have to write a song about them one day. I`ve written songs about just about everything else on wheels. I guess I missed that one out.

i hope they will continue to build a present as well though obviously the FIRST dvd will include some old stuff. it WOULD be nice to see the steve allen thing again...and hope they enjoy the process and result enough to make moremoremore~!

I remember talking to Duck backstage at The Knitting Factory, NYC last time around and he had mentioned the possibility of b & w footage that was shot of them from 1968 at this church I believe in the Bay Area I cannot confirm that for sure – FBL knows the name of the church I was talking to him about this the other night - but maybe just maybe that possibility becomes reality and would be included on the DVD – maybe it’ll be a surprise who knows

The DVD will consist of a recent gig in Germany. Hopefully it will be 3 or 4 shows into the tour as that seems to be when the band shakes off the dust, warms up and really starts to wail.

As much as I would LOVE to see early footage, I'm not too sure they would have access or even rights to the material! Nevertheless, the DVD is still going to rock!

I wonder if there's any footage of the band from the Be-in. Or was the clip that's circulating the whole film?

BC never played the Be-In. Actually, the only 2 that did were the Dead & the Airplane. They did, however, do the soundtrack to that film. Anyone know if that clip was the whole thing? It seems to cut off abruptly.
