Being that BC#7 been bootleged, why would anyone want to buy a copy since they could get it for free.

Not sure that's the spirit gypsyball!!
In normal circumstances I'd buy it pretty quickly as I'd like to have it in best sound quality (hopefully with some good background information in the package) and I'd want to support the musicians involved by buying their officially released material. However, in the current situation where it's release appears to be as a marketing ploy with the ulterior motive of bigging up Tony Rainier, no chance.
It cuts both ways....if I behave reasonably I expect the record company/management to.

Great News!!! Regarding the release of BC7, it appears that an agreement has been reached between ShroomAngel Records and the people involved in its recording/production. The idea is to press up 500 vinyl copies as well as CDs. And...Dickie's estate is supposed to be getting a cut. I, myself look forward to seeing this album finally get a proper release!
