Yeah but will there ever be quality tapes of Blue Cheer released?Wolfgangs Vault has nothing and Bill Graham supposedly taped all his shows.There were shows recorded,according to the Blue Cheer page of San Francisco Bands.I hope I'm still alive to hear the Leigh Stevens,Dickie Peterson and Paul Whaley Blue Cheer live at Anywhere at all!

I corresponded with Owsley once and asked him if he had any BC shows. He claimed that he never recorded them and doubted anyone could because they played too loud to get a decent recording. I was not too convinced.

According to the Owsley site,link above,Blue Cheer is named as one of the bands that they claim to have recordings of,but want money to "preserve".It's hard to believe that no one has any tapes of the original power trio.Also Parchman Farm demo hasn't surfaced either.I haven't read every thread,yet,but hasn't anybody heard any Blue Cheer from the Avalon or Fillmore Auditorium?Help!  |

Look here when I asked Owsley have you ever recorded Blue Cheer he said no -before he died that is .
Very difficult to get Dickie to play with Leigh and Paul now -----Dickie is far far far away in the sky
