holy crap, these guys look really cool, like 'nam vets only even rougher. i need to know how they rock around during the set. do they stand still like relics? to see them do out of focus or something would really set the world on fire if they did it right. an ya, what's the set list look like?

I'm have been writing down the set list each night but have refrained from posting it in an effort not to kill the surprise element for our brothers & sisters who have not seen their show yet. All I can say is that it is killer and will not disappoint. If you can catch multiple shows, please do as it is interesting to see the differences from one night to another in set & performance. I think it is impossible for this band to do a sucky show.
As for how they move during a show....well Dickie jumps up in the air a lot and does splits, Paul's drum set levitates and the shows end, and Duck gets to slay a steel dragon with his guitar. If only they had an inflatible Satan! ;-)

I haven't been paying attention the last few days....so, did anyone here happen to notice if the gig that was TBA in Phoenix had actually happened? If so, what was the date & venue? I'm trying to keep track of all the dates since the bands return to the States. Thanks!

Thanks, Gabby!
Being that the last major tour in 1968 was not very well documented in picture, audio, and historical formats, I want to make sure that just the opposite happens this second time around.
Peace!

I plan to record at least one and maybe two shows. If we all send our recording copys to the band then maybe they can put something together with it.

On the same note: What kind of portable recording device is best for this kind of recording? Mp3 recorder? Any other tips for recording? Thanks!

Maybe you should ask DewDude. He seems to know EVERYTHING about recording in general even though he can't bothered to go see a Blue Cheer gig. They are wrapping up a 30-gig tour and he hasn't shown up once!
