Saw BC the other day in Santa Ana and they ROCKED! Other than hoochie coochie man everthing they played was off the first and second albums. Didn't get a chance to talk with Dickie, I had a 350 mile drive home and work the next day. I'll try to talk with him when I see BC in San Francisco.
Heres the news, at one point Dickie told the crowd "I'll see you again in the fall". So, a extended tour?? Hope they post the dates!

Ghost Town Galleries in Oakland,CA on Saturday, Aug 5th! The location is 2519 San Pablo Ave. i did not see this information on the 'net ... at least, not on the BC myspace nor the new www.blue cheer.us ... where did you find it, man? Will make it to the party if there for sure is one  i hear the SF gig is gonna be the one to be at but not a word on the 'net ... is this invited guests only or what is going on? guessed, again  |

i did my own foot work ... right i am ... high on fire guitarist is on the bill as is Magic Christian (Prairie Prince band) ... now, that's going to be something to see ... Prairie and Whaley, Duck and rumored guest, Dickie all on the same bill, who knows what can happen that night, no way am i gonna miss this one ... ;D  |

The Oakland date was passed on to me. I don't know anything else beyond what I have already posted. I went to that neighborhood to have a look and I can tell you its not a place I want to hang out in. I'd like to know my car is still there when I come out!
I am going to the SF show tho, looking foward to it!

I figured I'd bring up this old thread. I saw them in Minneapolis 7/9/06. That's 7 years and 1 day since the show. Man, that was a great show. It was the last time I saw them, I figured they would be back as Dickie stated during the show.....Dickie and the band were on fire that night. He cracked a joke and told how the first time he played Mpls. his Uncle came down from Fargo to see BC play, his uncle said to Dickie after the show...."You actually make money playing this kind of music?" Well, I'm writing this note 7 years to the day after I woke up from the sonic blast. I sure wish I could see them play just one more time!
