That's a misleading statement! Randy has multiple interests. He isn't too busy with art..he's just too busy. The digital age has killed a number of occupations. You can't make any money in music unless you tour. The gigs are smaller and the venues decimated. Blue Cheer has decided to tour and has really worked hard the last year and a half. Has it paid off? That is a question we all ponder. Is American Idol saying the only profitable music is pop music? Good Guitar gods I hope not!..
Another industry is the photo industry which has also been killed. Who develops film with chemicals anymore....?
Even in my industry engineering every one copies everything or makes a .pdf of it and calls it their own. The age of the individual or individual talent has gone out to sea.....

I was being a little sarcastic in that last post of mine.
Riffraff you do have a point about the digital age has killed off a lot of occupations, like CD sales has gone down conciderly because of downloads (legal or not), now you can get movies online (legel or illegally). But keep in mind the digital age has help some bands, by bringing the music to the world, where by the old ways it might not have been possible, and by-pass the all ever powerful greedy "mainstream" music industry, who might think that their music is not worth putting out.
Like everything else, there a good side and a bad side, to the digital age. The rest is up to us on how to use it.

Yes, it is rather distracting, is it not?
I think it would be in the best interest of the board and Blue Cheer if this nonsense were stopped, and all future comments regarding Mr. Holden's place in Blue Cheer history shall be removed promptly to maintain the decorum of the board.
It's disrespectful not only to the moderators, but also to the band and especially Mr. Holden, not to mention the other, worthwhile contributing members currently enrolled on this forum.
Mr. Randy Holden is a fine painter, fisherman, husband, father, friend, guitar player and all-around nice gentleman, and I think the silliness that's been presenting itself on here devalues the man's name and status.
To those who insist on pushing the issue, I say this; Show some respect!
