...Creem magazine?!....Man I used to love that rag....Very funny guys they were.......Too bad current rock journalism doesn't even approach the wit those guys had...... ...So, you had a die hard Randy Holden fan on here eh........He's alright, but the fact is, as much as I kinda dig side 2 of their third album, it still pales in comparison to what the thunder and fury that was Leigh Stephens.....Yeah, I know all about Randy's attempt to claim the mighty Cheer as his....Gotta throw the ol' bullshit flag up on that one!....Blue Cheer is, at it's very heart Dickie Peterson...No if's and or buts about it......Paul?...He's da man when he's in! and as for Duck?.....He's it in the guitar dept.!......So Randy just needs to get over himself ;D ;D

I prefer Iggy as a solo artist, after the demise of the original Stooges. I think that he is a very under-rated song writer. Most people who think of Iggy possibly think of the `Passenger`. I was listening to Monster Magnet`s cover of `Gimme Danger` yesterday, which has been covered by so many. I enjoy his music. I am not interested in his wild stage antics or anything else that he might have got up to over the years. Similarly, I enjoy the music of Ron and Scott Asheton post-Stooges and have most of what they have been involved in since the demise of the Stooges. As for the Stooges in their heyday - I must say I was not impressed with their music. Once an avid collector of early Elektra albums, they were the one band I particularly avoided, whilst at the same time lapping up the likes of Love, the Doors and the MC5.

So who is the record company that is putting the new cd out?
Has Blue Cheer considered doing Lopaloosa? (sic). or even Ozzfest?
They really belong on the Crossroads tour with Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck among others.
