Well Geezus, I guess The Beatles were really Little Richard and Buddy Holly's band, since he was an obvious influence on them, right?

I was going to stay out of this one for once but I do need to ask RiffRaff to please tell us who gave him his facts about Randy and BC? It's really important that you tell us the source. I think we better change the name of this post to ShitStorm Eruptus!

Oh, it's patently obvious that riffraff got all his information from Randy Hammond who is, as we all know, really Randy Holden.

It's too bad Leigh couldn't have lasted for a third album and possibly have done the '69 tour ... but I will say the current line up with Duck is the closest in spirit to the band's original line up... even you can hear on some of the live shows Duck when he solos he throws in some of Leigh's style of guitar notes when he vibrates his guitar and mixes it in with his own style ... to me I have a feeling that the next Cd will be BC's third album Thanks so much Eric for all your posts and giving your input Maltese When in 07 will it come out?

I know more info on BC than you think, and then again there's some stuff I don't know about the band, because I wasn't around durring the 1968-1971 time period.

Yeah 56 buzz, Duck was pretty impressive. A new dimension he adds to the classic Blue Cheer tunes are his slow blues breaks like he does to fill in the quiet parts of Parchment Farm. In other songs like Doctor Please he uses controlled feedback very well, mixes it with a Clapton like tone from Cream days and shreds it to "fine".
I gotta listen to the Bye Bye Osaka Hello Tokyo disk again to compare. He is playing great now. Better than earlier live recordings. What do you think?'

I think they should replace Duck with Randy Hammond AND Randy Holden. After all, if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have Blue Cheer.

No, Blue Cheer should keep Duck, and if it wasn't for Leigh Stephens, Blue Cheer wouldn't be what it is today.

Maybe we should have Randy Hammond aka Randy Holden on drums seeing as how he is Paul Whaley`s cousin. Paul is only there some of the time. Better to keep it in the family, doncha think?
