Which concert? Who? Blue Cheer? I'd pay quite a bit for BC. But some other groups I wouldn't give you 2 cents to see.

Ok. For the poll it self, any concert outside of Blue Cheer. For Blue Cheer concerts post here, how much you would pay.

An Albatross who opened for BC on that recent tour are playing over here soon and it is $20 to go and see them. From all reports, I wouldn`t go and see them. They were charging $70 to go and see Art Garfunkel. The bigger the name, the higher the price, the more money for the promoter and the record company. The only money a band like BC makes is what they get from the merchandise stall. How much would I pay? I`d probably go as high as $30, but then, when I went to see BC in 2003 I needed to make a 500 mile round trip so it`s really insignificant how much you are prepared to pay considering the expense of getting there, staying overnight etc. etc.

this is the more important question how much longer 'til this country decides to put it's foot down and say we will not pay these oil companies any more of our hard earned money!!....gas could reach between 3 - 4 dollars a gallon this summer so when will people wake up and stop paying these prices? The more the demand the more they will raise them if everyone makes a conscious effort to not pay at the pump we could put this whole thing to a halt! The power is with the people as long as you believe it - with these kind of gas prices the way they're going you'll be thinking twice about making a 500 mile road trip to see any show believe me Had to get that across

An Albatross: what kind of fucking drugs are people doing nowadays that they would even pay $1.00 to see this bullshit band!? No wonder Keith Richards has finally given up getting high! This piece o' shit "band" finagled their way onto the last BC tour and were by far the most horrible thing I ever heard (& I LIKE rude music). Screaming and dripping from the mouth DOES NOT make you hardcore. There has to be some sort of purpose to the noise. These jerkoffs even had the cajones to attempt a butchered cover of Arthur Brown's "Fire" though they played it at speed 78. Someone from the audience yelled "Vincent Crane is rolling in his grave" but I doubt those guys even got it. The faggot singer (that hot blonde hanging on him fooled no one) was too busy being impressed that he gave himself a black eye (wow! I'm Iggy man). At least it made the Cheer's set all more awesome..kinda like seeing the promised land after an annoying hour in hell....

hey feathered, that wasn't directed toward you however, us folk here in the U.S. don't have the luxury of everyone having public transportation or traveling by train available to us like you folk in Europe do,....I actually encourage public transportation myself but not all of us here live in areas where it's easy access,...but yeah, I have a big problem with the US gov't. because they're fucking with everyones' lives here in more fuckin' ways than one and I have a bigger problem with those who defend it!!!!,....so please don't get pissy with me pal! - 'nuff said I don't want to turn this into a political forum but it has to come to a point which is what I was getting at in the first place whether it's gas prices, ticket prices, tickets for sporting events whatever the fuck it is you desire there comes a point where you have to put your foot down and not pay anymore - there's only so high that someone should pay - it's still your choice however, it's not even whether you can afford to pay it or not but it's a matter of principle.....because people keep paying more the cost is only going to go up more

Stop putting words in the US Govt. mouth!!! I don't see you putting any of the blame on the terrorists! THEY are the reason oil prices are so high!

Actually, Dickie was kind. When it was mentioned to him just how much An Albatross sucked ass he replied, "Hey, that's what people used to say about Blue Cheer when we started." Very cool of him to say so. They're not the same thing as BC but that was still a kind sentiment.

I'll add that Dickie, Paul, and Duck each commented on what nice guys they (Analbatross) were. Apparently SOMEBODY must like their music or you'd think they'd have packed it in by now. On the other hand, I tend to agree with the sentiments posted here.
