awesome beyond awesome. I don't know if anyone wants setlists, maybe there should be a separate thread.... I saw Maxwell's only. From what Paul said, Philly was better, but this was just so great...... Maybe even better than seeing Cactus two weeks ago...

DC was very cool as well...they opened with babylon (which is my favorite song) and just kept on going...i reccomend standing front and center for maximum effect...

Saw you guys yesterday night playing the CBGB. I was expecting much and got even more! 40 years after, the amazing Blue Cheer sound can't be bettered. Respect.

Hope to give more deails later:
Ran into Poopy at the DC gig.
The were just great.
Played beautifully and the sound was perfect. Several times I felt the hair stand up on the back of my neck!!
Seem to go over well with young folks.
Similar show to MD last DEC so far as song choices.
I want to hear them doing new material!

Hey Guys. Just got home from BAR in NH. (Long-haired hippie-biker up by the stage.) Not many bands motivate me to get out much anymore. Last time may have been Dr John a couple of years ago. In fact I was supposed to be out of state but when I heard you were coming I had to be there and I am totally buzzed from your set. The whole thing was great but you had me at Out of Focus which is one of my all time favorite songs. Hopefully you don't get tired of hearing this but it was all great and I am looking fwd to your return to NH in Nov so I can come back and bring some friends! Do you have a date set yet? All Good Things -

The show last week in DC was killer, still wailin' after 40 years. What gets me is in my youth reading/hearing how Blue Cheer sucked, then I heard it for myself & was blown away. How could anybody who loves rock not dig the proto metal/punk, pure, primal sound & Dickie's in your face vocals??? Plus having the distinction of being the World's loudest band & the favorite of The Hell's Angels? Too cool. Good luck on the rest of the tour. And for anyone who hasn't seen it, this just says it all: www.headheritage.co.uk/unsung/feature/blue_cheer

Venus wants to jam with and the Razorblades want to fuck with y'all! We and Kim Fowley send regards and respect to the original Bay area Kings of Noize! Saw you guys with Hendrix at the Shrine in '68(?). How many myspace people can say that?
