Roddy Baker had a 9th B-day party. In attendance was Walley Sellers, Larry Baker, Mike Lowrie, Steve Baker, Richard Tortosa, Bobby Graf, Dickie Graf, Scotty Graf and Paul Whaley. The Judge and Mrs. Degener entertained the boys at a patio BBQ party.

In my local newspaper (Winters Express) they have a section that reports events that happened around town 35, 50, 100 years ago on such and such date-- and this popped up. Just though you all would be interested in what Paul was up to 50 years ago. Sounds like he was the party animal back then too  |

I remember that day!!! Paul beat us all in a game of quarters (we were playing with Grape Nihigh). He then played us a drum solo on Mr. Degener's set. He did Wipeout going into what soon became the intro of Just A Little Bit Better. It rocked!!!

Slight problem with this - wasn't Wipeout a 1962 track? And wouldn't Whaley have been about 15 in 62? What was he doing at a 9 year old birthday party?
