I was looking at "Shank Hall'" website (where BC is playing at Nov 15) and saw that the opening act for that night is Plasticland. Does anyone know what that band is like? Baring any unforeseen obstacles I'll be going to that show.

I have a live album by Twink and Plasticland from a while back called `Who Wants to be a Fairy Godmother?` I heard that people were paying a lot of money for Plasticland`s vinyl albums at one time, whenever one came up for grabs. I must say I never managed to get one, although I did look.

Shouldn`t you have begun by saying `As spokesperson for the band ......?`I look forward to your reply. It will bring you one post closer to the coveted `1%er Elite`. I am surprised that as spokesperson for the band you weren`t made `honorary 1%er elite`, because, like Gypsy Ball, the only thing you have to say is what has been said already by somebody else. Being granted `honorary status`would have also meant you wouldn`t have had to post anything at all. Considering that FBL most recently stated that he was standing next to you at the most recent concert, I thought, that as spokesperson for the band, you might have, by now, had something intelligent to say about how you thought the show went, but obviously intelligence is not one of your strong points either.

I think the bitch is extremely rude by by-passing Doug, the creator of the new Blue Cheer website, by butting in on his response to Babylon like she was ignoring Doug completely and already calling the shots for anything and everything to do with the band. You show no respect whatsoever for the guy who took time and effort to create such an excellent website by your callous post. If anybody needed to know how the band wanted the matter handled, it should have been up to them to notify Doug, as webmaster, and not some goody-two-shoes with her own agenda. The next thing we know, you will be trying to wrest control of the new website away from the guy who lovingly created it, just like the other website was stolen in similar fashion. Crawl back into the fucking hole you crawled out of, bitch!

I don't recall Isis claiming that she is the spokesperson for the band.
I agree that the band should decide whether or not they want a picture to be posted on the site as it is there to promote them (not that Doug posted that he was going to in the first place). But as for who Babylon emails the photos to, that's his right as trading tapes, videos, photos, among the 1% is an encouraged action. We wouldn't want the band to get all Phil Lesh-like on us now would we?
So..."Bess," what did happen with the original website?

Is there anyone else going from this message board, going to the Milwaukee show?

I think we should first send these photos to Randy Holden for approval and copyrighting and then to Dew Dude for remastering before even thinking about involving the band ;D

not sure why ANYONE bothers to notice what TB says since he/she/it has nothing to say but to slag others off - and obviously is very jealous of anyone who does have anything to say.

Why the fighting, people? If I see photos I like, I'll post them. If Duck (or anyone in the band) sees photos THEY like, I'll post them too. That's the way we've set things up. This is a big deal about nothing, IMO.
FeedbackLourde sent some pictures from a Philly show. They were good, so I posted them, and gave credit for the photos. Anyway, right now I'm too busy to post much of anything this week...
Settle down, OK?

Yeah, those pictures were from last year's Khyber gig. I sent them to someone to be nice and next thing I knew, they were up on the old website without a credit. Thanks for doing it right on your site....

hey Babylon, the photo's should actually be emailed to Duck first and foremost to Dickie's email address at lonewolf_555@hotmail.com he would like to look at the pictures before they go up thanx alot... OK, everybody, whatever - I didn't think volunteering to post a couple of photos would stir-up such a lively debate complete with name calling... etc. It's not like I mentioned Randy Holden or something I'll get to the photos in a couple of days - jammed with work at the moment.
