Great review! This band never compromises.
Strike another blow against the sterile music world of 2007!!
Long may they shake foundations and shatter windows ;D.

Yeah, great review!.. One thing about Dickie is that defiance comes to mind. Watching him play and taking his stance while he sings is definitely one of defiance. He had defied all odds of being with us today and that is one of the reasons we really ought to appreciate him. He is from another time and mentality. It is refreshing now. Back then no one knew what to make of it. I hope you got a chance to speak with him after. His tales of old are spellbinding . I would agree his vocals could have been miked a little louder. Next time I am going to observe from front center. You picked up on all this quite well. And that's....

The Shank Hall show was a blast. The set list for the show was; Babylon Second Time Around Maladjusted Child Rock Me Parchment Farm Out Of Focus Rollin' Dem Bones Just A Little Bit Summertime Blue Doctor Please The Hunter (Encore) During the drum solo in "Doctor Please" Paul "spoofed" John Bonham by paly his drum with his bare hands! Dickie has problems with his bass amp.It had sound, but it wasn't the full range that it is normally is.
So Dew Dude, what were you wearing at the Shank Hall gig? I guess I missed you.

I'm glad you made it and had a great time. Was there a good turnout? Cheers...Erik It seemed like a good turnout, but being this the fist BC show I've been to, I really don't know how big the crowds are at their shows, to know if it's a really good turnout or not. Though the crowd was very energetic during the show.

Dickie has problems with his bass amp.It had sound, but it wasn't the full range that it is normally is. quote] Hmmm...Maybe the band oughta get Randy Holden over there to fix it since he seems to be an expert rewiring bass amps (as well as remixing albums). ;D

Maybe Dickie wants to approach that Elliot Kissalot that plays bass for Randy Holden to act as his guitar tech seeing as how there seems fat chance that the dude will ever play live with Randy. The guy is a recording engineer as well. He should know how everything wires up. And what he didn`t know, no doubt Randy taught him!
