Man, that's alot of miles. Did you tell Dickie? They might have let you have dinner or a smoke with them. I hope you had a chance to talk with him and/or Duck. What did you think of Shank's Hall? You listed the play list...but what were your impressions of the band and the gig?

Wouldn`t it have been more fun if GypsyNoBalls had arrived to find that the show had been cancelled?
;D

Wouldn`t it have been more fun if GypsyNoBalls had arrived to find that the show had been cancelled? ;D Yeah, but if that had happened (funny though it would have been), he no doubt would have fought back the only way he knows how, and that means he would have written a blog on his lame Myspace page.

Why are you guys ragging on GypsyBall now? He had the BALLS to drive 1000 miles roind trip to see BC live and he wrote us a review (complete with a humorous reference to a "crow." It's not like he came on here like Robbnoxious or DewDude or someone like that.

I would have more respect..erm, I would have respect PERIOD for the guy if he stood behind what he writes (I.E. his blog) and allow everyone to read it. I can take the criticism, so why not let everyone read what you wrote?

Nice drum solo definitely a bit different from what I saw him solo at New York and Philadelphia shows although his solos were equally as good there as well but in this solo he ventured into something more different – kind of a Bonham type only because he did not have his snare on (but of course he’s a much better drummer than John Bonham IMHO),- very nice tribal style…I liked how he started playing the drums with his hands at one point of the solo….but this is a clear example of a very good musical drum solo without being technical and flashy…..I was really impressed with a lot of his crossovers from the upper tom to the floor tom,…no doubt he’s playing so much better now it’s too bad they didn’t add any more shows onto this tour - the Whale kicks ass!

squawk squawk - if you'd ever showed any respect before you might have been admitted - and man does he have some good stuff on there! too bad , huh? Nice in it's own way. Really, I admire your attempt to defend GypsyNOballs. Especially when it's GypsyNOballs himself under another name. (Psssttt...it's "if you've ever shown", NOT "if you'd ever showed") That, in combination with the rest of the poor English in your post was a dead give away. Randy Holden rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all I have no doubt that Gypsyball can take care of himself. You are the one who is screaming to be let into the party everyone else got invited to. Second, "If you had ever showed any respect" is perfectly fine English and doesn't mix up tenses like your own nitpicking attempt at deflating me. And third, your campaign against Gypsyball only makes YOU look like an idiot. The rest of us, including your target, are "dead bored" with it, to use a colloquialism.

And now I see what you meant - no I am not Gypsyball. I have noticed he doesn't even bother replying to your rubbish. And it was not your dig at me but at him that mixed up its tenses("if he STOOD behind..and ALLOW us to read it"). End of diatribe.

To answer a previous question, it was a very good crowd for a Thursday night at Shank Hall. I would estimate maybe 120 people were in this club that might max out around 150 safely. It was not a problem going to get beers and not really a problem to see the band, even midway up. Guys who were getting video of the show didn't seem like they were having much trouble either. The band did well for themselves in a notoriously tough music town (it is said people are cheap in Milwaukee and don't want to spend money on covers for music). Some of the good attendance was probably due to Milwaukee old-time favorites Plasticland opening.
I was a little disconcerted when I got to Shank and noticed that the management had decided to leave all the tables in place near the stage and people were sitting down for Plasticland. I thought Blue Cheer should be a "standing" show, for sure. As BC took the stage, Dickie hollered that everyone should just come up to the stage, because they wanted the crowd with them, not sitting 20 feet away. This was accomplished quickly and off they went on the killer set.

You do it...dammit, I meant, he does it via a blog on his lame Myspace site. Besides, if GyspyNOballs can fend for himself, why do you keep sticking up for him? Could it be...nah....

I, for one, am not `dead bored` with Festooned Piglips` posts. So, I am afraid that you are not speaking on my behalf when you assume that everybody else is, Goldielocks. I take it that you are assuming everyone else is. Have you asked them? So far, I haven`t read of anybody else telling Festooned Piglips to `fuck off`other than Gypsyball. Nobody seems to care about what Festooned Piglips has to say. I`m sure that if they felt the same way that Gypsyball must feel that they would have said so, but nobody has, so they can`t be in the state of `dead bored` that you imply. Tell me this! Why did you butt in anyway? Surely, Gypsyball is man enough to stand up for himself in these matters, unless, of course, you are indeed Gypsyball, despite all your efforts to convince us that you are not. Or are you just someone who appreciates a good argument and have yet to find someone who can better you in the art? Well, if you are, you`ve come to the right place
