Can someone help me id this song from around 1968
It was the B side of some famous song that I now forget
Shadows of night? maybe
I thought that Blue Cheer had done it but I can not find it anywhere on the web.
Anyone remember this (ripping way ahead of its time) song?

can someone tell me why with all the hype regarding the Doobie awards for Blue Cheer
that so little came of it . As far as I can see only one real mention was made of them having won the award.
now with the mix of a huge venue and mucho pocololo I can understand the sloppy presentation however I do hope and trust Blue Cheer can capitalize on the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Personally this award means more to me than any at the Rock and Roll Hall of fame might.
So didi they actually win an award ----please post pictures of the award and dickie accepting the award----no dvd or movies please just pictures.

Oh Yeah!! They did win, and the photos are Fabulous. I am very "old School", 35mm, and was working on another BC project for Dickie, but the shots are coming. Not sure how much High Times will report on the Event, but they had a photographer covering the festivities. It was all very cool.

MySpace as 25 photos from the SXSW gig, kinda grainy. And 10 high quality shots from "Yoda-Granada in Dallas" ... best current photo of Whaley ever.
And thought you all might be interested to hear that the Cheer got a mentionon the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame site for Mar. 23, 2008

yeah, the myspace gets a bad rap around here but they really do a pretty good job of getting info and pics up so who cares if its not cool. lots of visitors to that site!
