It was never that wild when I went to the other NYC show's, but it went well together. Of course it was loud Couldn't tell you about the 68 show's though, I wasn't even a thought yet.... Haha, and everyone thought Whaley was the quite one out of the group

Great concert reports fellow 1%'ers - psychedelic hard rock meets thrash meets punk meets grunge meets chaos at the Knitting Factory.
Another 'balls out' performance and it sounds as if Paul took that literally!
Sounds like the last Stooges show I saw, another band from back in the day that still inspires madness and mayhem.
'as loud as 1968?' I bet everyone gets real tired of that 'loudest band' 'how loud are they' tag, these guys are great musicians not some one trick gimmick band.
I wish they would stop being promoted as 'the return of the loudest R&R band in the world' as the add for the Khyber show did. They bring alot more than volume.
How these guys keep going is beyond me - they must barely break even playing all these dinky little clubs - the fck'in Khyber is the like a closet, at lest when they played here in Philly earlier in the year at the North Star it was a decent room and crowd, even if it is a total dump on the edge of a ghetto!
This wouldn't be easy for guys in their twenties, say nothing of a group of guys pushing' sixty and beyond!!
I guess they must still enjoy doing it even if it means sleeping in a van and eating at Wendy's or whatever they do?
Go out and see these guys before they drop.

Being the Loudest rock 'n roll band is what they were all about but their music is as great as how loud they played - their very " fuzzed out hendrix-like" style turned up on ten,...they've been labelled a "metal" band over the years but they are NOT a metal band - they are a rock'n roll band In 1968 no one even touched these guys volume and intensity wise,..they were the Motorhead before there was ever a Motorhead....these days they are touring but are going through the club's PA systems so they are playing as loud they could take it to the PA's capabilities,....remember, some of these bands like Motorhead and Manowar have the luxury of touring with their own systems so if givin' the oppurtunity for BC to go through the larger PA's they would be as loud if not louder

Well...after just looking at an on-line translation engine, it seems that these are real latin words. I got multiple meanings for each but the combo that made the most sense equaled "Conquering Attack" or "Conquering Explosion." Makes sense to me.... I did Latin for 6 years, Vincibus is third person plural (they) and it means to conquer, eruptum, well, Im geussing its where we get the English word 'eruption'
