Well, we missed Blue Cheer after they bombed Austin a few years' ago. This was BP after a 40 year sabatical. The critics said their show was one of the best of the 3,000 bands that played in Austin. Rod Prince with his SG Gibson letting it fly. Billy Gibbons presented Roky Erickson (13th Floor Elevators) with Musician of the Year. When BP changed their name to Demian in 1970 to make a final stab in LA before it all imploded, they made a song called "Windy City'' off the Demian album. Incredible song. This was a great band. All original members on stage at the Austin music awards. A Texas moment. Cheers
