I am sad to say that Rock & Roll and the BC Family has lost another great. Bruce Stephens has sadly passed away on May 16, 7PM. Condolences to his familt, his friends, and all his fans.

Loved his guitar playing on side one of the "New! Improved" album.
Does anyone know what caused his death?

It was cancer, specifically Lymphoma. I loved his guitar work on Saturday Freedom. Another great BC guitar solo! Mint Tattoo was pretty awesome too. He & his music will be missed....

Sad to see cancer claiming 3 members of Blue Cheer. First it was Ralph Kellogg, then Dickie Peterson, and now Bruce Stephens.
