Here is an interview with Dickie from 2008 by Mark Beef of Albatross (a band that opened up for the Blue Cheer tour at that time). It is a pretty good interview as one would expect as it is between two musicians, one seasoned and the other aspiring... It covers both old and new ground. Got my copy in the mail this weekend! It's pretty cool so far. 350 pages written just as Dickie said everything; You can actually hear his voice. Of course anything that Dickie was ever involved in was never less that 100% real! Get it while you can as I fear this thing is about to become rare. I initially pre-ordered it on the German Amazon site and my order got cancelled with a note saying it wasn't in stock, then I wrote directly to the author and he said it was out of print and that he didn't know when more would be printed (guess he thought they'd only sell 5 copies). Finally I found it on the English Amazon site and there were 3 copies left. All you true 1ers, jump on this now!
