Hey Feedback, how are you doing? Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones! Not that I am aware of. Randy's gigs are extremely limited. But he still is able to come up with a band. Too bad he has no regular band. Then the music could be more polished and more experimental. Still he has quite a catalog of songs. I think next year, he has plans to do a gig in Italy. The venue he was at a couple of years ago. I wish I could go see him. It just seems so far to go (to California). I enjoyed seeing Dickie, Paul and Duck at a number of gigs, years back, but getting to a Randy Holden gig is proving more difficult. He is releasing a 50 yr anniversary edition of Population II. (But I have no details). Man, I can't believe I am writing about music 50 yrs old....ahh but those were the days, those were the days... Sorry that I am almost 2 1/2 years to late for the party but I saw Holden at the whiskey ( we live 3 blocks away) in December 2019. I was lucky to be on the invite list. Before the show I had a cig outside with Randy while talking about the 50th anniversary of Pop 2.
When he started his set Holden he had a few hiccup’s tuning his guitar using a wireless combo to tune between songs do it took time between songs.it worth the wait!and In the end we were mostly deaf and that’s what counts.
BYW his live version of, Piece of Mind” Killed!
