I couldn't find any mention of Blue Cheer on the underground ( Hamilton Canada) website.

3 days until BC first show of 2007! Sadly I can't make it to the shows, and today the Tundra is living up to it's name.

FBL... If you get any complaints from the Stooges camp just tell them Blue Cheer rules! "Blue Cheer rules!".....Where are we, in high school???.......Leave that kind of high school speak where it belongs.......Yes, I'm as big a Cheer fan as any, but it's discussions like the one here that make me wonder about the intellect of some of their fans......I mean, no one said The Stooges were better than Blue Cheer, and an attempt at logical discussion was proven futile.......Like I said, I haven't had a "my band is better than your band" kind of argument since....well....high school....C'mon guys, we Blue Cheer fans are better than that....Right?

At the rate that this thread is going, all I can say is that I BETTER NOT get any email from the Iggy Pop camp demanding I delete any posts that rag on the Stooges! If That happens, I'm going ballistic! Hey...no complaints from me! I do find it amusing that the mere mention of Iggy has gotten some people's bowels in a knot! It almost as funny (or sad) as the constant pissing wars between the Megadeth/Mustaine and Metallica/Hetfield fanboys. I do know how rough this place can be as I did take a beating for being "stupid" and driving all the way from Tennessee to Toledo for a show that was never officially "cancelled" by the venue (Vamp's) or on the Blue Cheer/Dickie Peterson myspace sites. No way in Hell would I ask for any post to be deleted by a mod...but I do think if you post you should be a registered member to do it! That being said......I'm looking forward to seeing BOTH Blue Cheer & The Stooges fuck Chicago up! If Blue Cheer can be gracious enough to open up for Nashville Pussy in Lexington, KY last year then I say it is a safe bet that they can hold their own up on stage with anybody....even Iggy!

Are you telling me I can't post what I like? You want a argument...bring it on. As far as high school speak...yeah...Blue Cheer rules...you don't like that I say this...tough. I'm not against The Stooges doing their thing. I've seen them twice. They're not my cup of tea. I didn't bring the Stooges up on this thread, I just said my peace that I don't see any connection between the two. I'm sure that if FBL doesn't like what I say he can speak for himself. Where better to talk about BC being better than other bands than on a BC bulletin board. You were the one that said to lighten up. ...I think there's a subtle connection between Blue Cheer and The Stooges.....Both bands, in their prime, only put out 3 albums that turned out to be legends....But most importantly...both bands went against the grain during their original time frame and were considered outcasts....both bands had a dominating lead guitar player by their third album ;D ;D ;D ;D

The members of this board do, keep in mind this is a BC board. Yeah we may talk about other bands once in a while. But this is a Blue Cheer board. So send your "love" posts of the Stooges to the Stooges Board.

`...and I`ll be wearing a long blonde wig, pink blouse with DD padded bra, tight black knee length skirt with a slit up the right side, black fishnet tights and cuban heels and I`ll have a dirty white thong over my face with the crotch piece pressed to my nose, and you`ll find me hanging around outside the men`s lavatory!`
`Whoops! I forgot to log on again.`
