I'll say Black Sabbath with Dio (I thought that they were going to call them selves Heaven and Hell when Dio was going to be with the group) , will come out with an album first. Brittany Spears? Well.............. her music carer is over. Has anyone heard when BC's album is coming out?

I think Van Halen are one if the most overrated bands to have ever come out,...they made such a big stink over Eddie's guitar playing when they first came out in 1978 and I remember how magazines like Creem were hyping them out to be way more than what they really were,.....there were way better guitar albums that were out before the first Van Halen album came out that were more mind blowing but just didn't get the notorioty...also every time I saw them live their sound totally completely sucked ,...you could hardly hear Alex's drums except for the cymbals and snare drum, Michael Anthony's bass sounded like total mud and the only thing you could hear ok was Eddie's guitar but they were mediocre live at best and they sounded shitty every time I saw them including when Sammy Hagar joined the band...I don't know what it was but it must have been the way their soundman must have mixed them,...to me very overrated band and there are much, much better guitarists that should received the credit that Eddie Van Halen got .....I had to get that off my chest

Looking at old pictures of David Lee Roth, I think he wanted to be like Robert Plant, though Roth is not very bright. I think he flashed his * cough cough* good looks on stage more than anything else Andrew 'Duck' MacDonald, Leigh Stephens, and Randy Holden are much better guitarists than Eddie Van Halen could ever be. . These guys deserve more credit than Mr. Van Halen gets!

I went with Iommi as well. I always thought David Lee Roth was a poor man's Jim Dandy Mangrum from Black Oak Arkansas. I never did like Van Halen too much at all.

Maybe he's listing them according to who is LOUDEST. If so, I would agree with that order...

Maybe he's listing them according to who is LOUDEST. If so, I would agree with that order... Yeah that's what I was doing. Well........... any ways, Like Van Halen you could say the same thing with most of the hair metal bands of the 80's. The only thing that they were good at was "banging" women and sporting very flammable hair duos. ;D Also the way Mr. Roth smiles, sort of reminds me of the guy who did the Dr. Angus ads for Burger King.

Although there were a few good bands from the 80's, such as Dire Straits, and Guns N' Roses are the bands from the 80's that I liked.

I think it was last year I picked up Fused. Tony Iommi and Glen Hughes. Glen's vocals can get a bit repetitious but over all not bad. When creating this poll, I had forgot about the Heaven & Hell reformation. Anyone have a date of release for Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio? I know Jimmy Page is working on something for this year, but it will probably be late in the year. So I hold off my vote for now.
