You brought the thunder to Austin last nite at Emo's. Dickie Peterson screams like a wildcat. Bombastic, Fantastic. You guys showed a lot of class. I like the story Dickie told about gettin sick two weeks before the recording session for the first album, how he wrote "Out of Focus" and the chinese radhishes with one pepsi cola a day. I got to meet Paul Whaley and Dickie Peterson. They signed my copy of "Vincebus Eruptum".....Dickie asked my name and wrote " ---- keep on rockin" above his signature. I was thrilled to meet these San Francisco legends. They played an awesome show. Paul and Dickie pioneered thunderous, rumbling, sludged out style rock and roll rythym section in 1967. They are totally fuzzed out and heavy. Their new guitar player for the last twelve years, Andrew " Duck" Macdonald, was excellent as well, a flat out psychedelic, bluesy, Jimi Hendrix style shredder. They were all very gracious and showed a lot of class to us fans.
Killer. Hope you come back soon. Jamey
