Welllllll, if Randy Holden is playin' any of the gigs, I guess I better leave the ol' tape recorder at home....Or will Blue cheer's laid-back recording policy still apply?

I am so confused ;D I thought tomorrow is June 15 and the tour kicks off June 16 ... so anyway, came on by to say something else, thought you would like it ... we wrote a studioreport for the web-zine Roadburn ( www.roadburn.com/pgshortcut/causa.html ) - on the top of our list of influences we have written this: Blue Cheer - "Vincebus Eruptum" This is what heavy psych is all about to us! Yeah yeah, The 13th Floor Elevators were pretty psychedelic, so were Cream -even fucking Pink Floyd was psychedelic once. But that shit sure as hell aint no Blue Cheer!!! 'Vincebus Eruptum' is pure mind-expanding, ear-shattering, skull-crushing fuzzed-out fury! A monster of an album! Pure rock, the way it was meant to be played. If you for some reason do not own this album: for the love of all that is pure and holy go get this album and play it as loud as possible!

I will be at the Black Cat tonight.
Had a birthday last week so have a little extra $ for cab rides, ticket, cocktails, BC goods (maybe the CD?) etc.
Everyone says the Cat has great sound.
Just hope I can stay awake that late!
If anyone else is going I will be the guy in the BC T-shirt.

Yage, I'll be there tonight! Hopefully the new CD will be on sale, but if nothing else, at least I'll get to see BC live again. I'm taking a friend who, although he's an extremely avid concert-goer, has never heard BC nor seen them live. Hopefully we'll have a new convert tonight. See ya there!

I just went down to the Triple Rock in Mpls. and scored my tickets. $13 for their 13th gig. Could be some good voodoo that night. It's Saturday the 8th. Anyone else going, drop me a line.
Later...EIO
