Uhhhhh...reply to too much coffee man.....
You didn't catch my drift, man. Although I find little fault in what you wrote, my review was very positive. And it was only after two listens. It was not meant as a proper review, but mainly my first impressions....
If you read closely, most of the criticism is directed at the label. The typos are a reflection of carelessness. And not on the part of the band. The band is very professional now when they do their gigs,,,they show up ...they deliver...and they meet with the fans afterward. But the label did not reinforce this.
I am a liitle pissed that I told a number of my friends to check out the release at Best Buy on super Tuesday. For the most part no stores had it in stock. Almost all was special order.
This is much to good a record not to have it in stores on the day of release. I am sorry ...no excuses....the stores should have carried it.
I have to expound on the instrumental thing. Maybe that was an effect Duck was after. If you compare the second instrumental with the first instrumental break, they are totally different in Rollin' Dem Bones. The second break is great.
What I wrote was unfinished. I wanted to get more into that Ritchie Blackmore thing and a Golden Earring comparison with George Kooymans. Maybe Duck will understand what I am getting at.
Another thing I forgot to mention is that there is a lot of Wah-wah guitar on this disk, and Duck does it really well. It was great to hear that sound (effect) again.

Maybe then you oughta think through what itis you want to say before thinking out loud & posting the first thing that pops into your little head. You're not GypsyBall dammit. Plus, you probably noticed that a lot of other people here gave this thing a few listens and digested the music first before writing reviews. As the old saying goes, "he who speaks first...."
