Well, of course they're grinning...It's what skulls do!! With no facial skin to show emotion, all skulls can do is bare their teeth, thus their grins. A HA HA HA.....No hard feelings Riffraff. Hopefully you got the point I was making though. Blue Cheer is too damn good to merely rest on their past.

Well, I have to put my two cents in too, and I agree that the cover sucks. If it IS intended to be a takeoff on the inside picture from "Outsideinside" then it's a great idea, but not executed particularly well. Too cheesy for my taste. That said, I hope that the music is as great as we're all expecting it to be!

I don't know what you all were expecting...Blue Cheer is the world's premiere HEAVY METAL band and what we got here is a really nice psychedelic HEAVY METAL album cover. Would you hippie freaks prefer something a bit more docile like flowers & hearts?

I guess I'm just glad there is cover art and that it clearly says "BLUE CHEER".
I had kinda hoped they would run with the flaming guitars motif like on BOOTLEG but that is a small gripe.
It will be Augest in no time!

What the fuck are `Fowers and Harts`? I see under your avatar it says `Under a gypsy wizard SPELL`. I`m surprised that you can actually spell `SPELL` because you can`t SPELL fuck all else. If they don`t belong on a Blue Cheer album cover, why was the front cover of `TOHB` photographed in a somebody`s garden shed?

You have the balls to throw that cover at me? Anyone who is into Blue Cheer knows full well that by the time of TOHB Dickie was just there to fulfill a record contract and could care less about how the records were being packaged. This record was a Yoder-Grelecki-wannabe-Kak record with the Blue Cheer name on it.

Hellonwheels, Of possible interest---TOHB Cover was shot in a small plot of garden behind a converted Whore House just off Broadway in North Beach , San Francisco. Osgood Alley was the name of the street . I shared an office there with Charlie Osborne who named Vin Cebes Eruptum and Bruce Steinheimer photographer . Also living at that place was Dickie with Marlene, Whaley with Kathy, Ralph with Sucki.

Nice cover and all, but I assume Randy Holden is the one on the left? Not only that, but is Whaley even represented? If so, he has short hair, unlike the pics on the cover.

There's also a promo photo of Dickie, Leigh, and Paul posing in a garden. Eric - do you happen to know where that one was taken?

Mikethedrummer- Yep that one was taken in the backyard of Guts apartment on Divisidero Street( Photographer,Grant Jacobs), just off of Geary Blvd. Gut was manager with myself and Jerry Russell older by 10 years Ex Hells Angel , He introduced us to Kesey, Cassidy, Neil that is- Bill Graham and Chet Helms----he also did the logo which now appears on this cover of new CD Gut lived in the front apt that had a head shop in it after he moved from his store called Joynt Venture- Head shop---Gut lived in the front apt with Nancy Winarick and Jeremy lived in the back apartment with Betty Cantor that went on to be the Dead's sound girl. Festooned ------photographer up in the tree was Herb Green taken I believe in Delores Park in the Mission district. I have herd about four of the songs on the new CD that were not mixed yet so I reserve Judgment - Dickie was to send me one of the completed CD'S but didn't ---2 possible reasons 1) Duck forbade him from doing so--don't really blame him or 2) Much too difficult to get an envelope and put a stamp on it much less go to a mail box or a post office ---not easy for Dickie to do those things.
