Well we got a date....now that's a development!
Any idea how many songs didn't make it to the album? Their titles? Maybe the band will release an EP with those extra tracks at a later time...

That's right maggot brain! I say it and a lot of others do as well. I'm in my 50's and I'll say what I damn please as related to how damn good Duck or any others in BC are. It's funny you call yourself "Maggot Brain"', I haven't heard that term used since grade school. You'ld get along real well with "A Voice of Reason" who posted a while back and said the same thing. I wasn't in high school when people used the word "rules" this way. I suppose you just got out of high school? Or maybe you're the same guy as"A Voice of Reason", and the others who are too lame to join this BB and contribute nothing but bad jokes. Now pray tell us what your experience with BC has been through the years. Maybe those maggots in your brain won't allow you to. Anyways.... we can't wait for the new CD....Duck, Paul, and Dickie rule! Oh wow man, you gotta be kidding me!!! I thought we 1%er`s were tough folk.....and yet, I find that some 1%er`s can`t take a joke and get all bent out of shape. I was just yankin` your chain man. Relax, live a little, laugh a lot, and play some Blue Cheer music while doin` it

Again, relax man.......I was only jokin` with ya. Yeah, talk is cheap, which is why it perplexes me that yer still gettin` bent out of shape over what was merely a joke. Look man, Blue Cheer`s got a new album comin` out......The last thing we 1%er`s need to be doin` is goin` at each other`s throats. Peace? Oh yeah, the alias is for a purpose, none of which have to do with what I say. I need not disclose my reason here, frankly because there`s no need to. In any event, no hard feelin`s man.

I am excited about this new CD. The tunes on MySpace sound great. I am just curious if they are going to tour anymore this summer?

No tour dates planned as of yet. Maybe we'll see them again in the Fall but this is just speculation on my part. They are road dogs and you can't keep a band like that off the hiway for too long....

That album cover would look good as a t-shirt also. Will the band do this and make them available?

That would make an interesting t-shirt.

So f...... stupid. for the summer of love 40 th anniversary listed to play are among others Dickie Peterson ( Blue Cheer), Liegh Stephens with Pete Sears, Greg Douglas and someone else 2 separate acts---now you would think that with a cd coming out that Leigh and Dickie could put their stupid ego's on the back burner and with the help of Rain man records get Paul over here and have a proper reunion with 3 original members ---better for all of them---no shit! Do we really think Leigh playing with Pete sears et al is cool or what ---I don"t and think they have their head up there somewhere----- Really stupid I believe even more stupid is to book 50 or so acts for a one day event ----no way this will top the benefit for chet helms ---no way--- Another sad reminder why BC is not where they should be professionally spiritually and even for the devil worshipers among us -------
Pisses me off it does. how dumb.

I wouldn't put the blame on Dickie or Paul. They ain't got no ego problems. Ironically, it always seems that the ones that do are the alumni that no longer have much of a career. Guess one has to compensate somehow....

Anyone know if the new album is coming out on vinyl anywhere in the world?
I've got all of BC's albums on vinyl, from VINCEBUS through DINING, and hope the new release will be pressed to wax.

Who is gonna bill as BLUE CHEER ? You are absolutely correct, when you post that all things being right in the world,Dickie, Duck and Paul, should be at the Summer of Love 40th Anniversary Concert as the definitive Blue Cheer. Sadly, due to lack of financing, this is not happening. However, there is an opportunity to see a performance by Dickie, in an historic setting in celebration of a time which was undoubtedly rare and is special to many of us.Should make for a memorable day.

Right you are, RRELIC. Dickie kicked so much ass at the Chet Fest Celebration. Hell, he carried off the whole BC set all by himself!
