No, actually, it`s not. Those are the lyrics to `Tractor` by Monster Magnet. You started it, asshole! So don`t fucking make snide remarks when someone does it better than you. You started it, after all, fuckwit!

She's only seventeen She's really sort of cute She's working in the street She's a teen-age prostitute
She ran away from home Her mom was destitute Her daddy doesn't care She's a teen-age prostitute
"I have got a pimp He treats me like a dog . . . " (All the stuff she's shooting Keeps her in a fog) "I would really like to try and get away . . . " (But if she gets caught he will cause her some dismay) "No no no no no!"
Tiny little pants Chain around my boot Shakin' in the dark I'm a teen-age prostitute

The Sugar Megs site is down. Gee, you honestly didn`t think that site, which has ILLEGAL live material, would be up for very long, did you? Good riddance I say!! Hey, here`s a unique idea for you; why not start *ULP* PAYING for your music downloads instead of stealing them? HA HA.....yeah, I know that doesn`t sit very well with you, since the artists had to actually work (something i gather you`re not too familiar with) to write those songs, buy the gear to perform them and take the time to actually perform them....god forbid that you should actually have to pay them for this Once again, good riddance and this is a day of victory for true musical artists!!

I thought you were only a Randy Holden lover, Mr Brown.......sorry, I should say, Mr Kisshisass!! I bet there were no bootlegs featuring Randy Holden at Sugarmegs. Why should you, therefore, bother about the plight of other artists?

While I do indeed think, no, knowthat Randy Holden is an incredible artist, I feel the same rights should be given to any artists performing music. He/she works hard, so why shouldn`t they get paid for their efforts? ? This is why I am elated that the music-stealing site is down.....all artists have the same right to get paid. Hey, do you work for free? Of course not, so why should musical artists? This whole "music-for-free" idea is bunk and comes from the hippie era...you know, those dirty kids who didn`t want to work for a living and get stuff for free...much like what these music-stealing sites are doing now.

As Keith Richards always says "man, you forgot the e at the end of the word - that's artistE!" Anyway, there is a silver lining to bootlegs - the music gets heard, and the artistes are motivated to keep on working! They got paid to DO that gig, didn't they?

Bootleg: Something made or used illegally or without authorization. Unofficial and illegally copied or distributed version of a movie (or, in this case, music- F.P.), often of a substandard quality. Unofficial release of material not available for commercial sale.
So tell me, just where is the "silver lining" in illegal behavior? No, contrary to your lopsided justification, bootlegs DO NOT keep artists motivated; the love for our art and *AHEM* getting paid for that art motivates us. Yes, they do get paid for that gig that`s been bootlegged, but since the person is distributing copyrighted material without authorization and is keeping the money for him/herself, then it`s illegal. Even if they`re not getting paid, they are still distributing unauthorized material, which again, is illegal....period. Tsk tsk, try as you might, there`s so excuse or "silver lining" in ANY illegal behavior. I mean, if there is, then that means if a person is broke financially, then it`s perfectly okay for him to break into your home and take what belongs to YOU so he can sell it and make money. Then, you have to replace the stuff that was stolen, which, since replacing that stuff costs money, it keeps you motivated to go to work everyday.

So, if Gypsy Ball was to copyright all his posts beforehand, then that would mean that you would be unable to quote him without his permission and subsequently slag him off, which would make life increasingly dull for you, one supposes ;D

True, very true, except.... Except, I don`t think Gyspyball has the intelligence to even obtain a copyright. I mean, it`s obvious he doesn`t know what one is, so Voice Of Reason, I think you`re giving Gypsyball a bit more credit than he deserves. Nice try tho......

i can think of lots of illegal behaviours with "silver linings"...d'you know it's illegal for even married couples to have sex on sunday in some new england states? just for starters. but i take your point festooned, and of course i would rather get paid than not but hey, music needs to be heard to be worth anything to anyone! and speaking of someone who has seen plenty of ripoffs i would STILL rather it was out there than sitting in a lock-up somewhere...just like i would rather some burglar had my stuff than i had to live behind bars and alarms...when you talk quality control it IS hard to see shitty stuff released but - what can you do? and does elton john really need gypsyballs money? i'll bet gypsy works harder in an average year than elton!

Well now, funny you should mention Elton, you being what you is!! What`s the bet you`d rather have Elton in the John than a Gypsy by the Balls, assuming he, she or it has both of them.

So, what you`re saying is, if someone has lots of money, they shouldn`t get any money owed to them?!?!? Dude, that`s f*cked up! As for married couples not allowed to have sex on Sundays....i get the impression that sex doesn`t even come into the equation with you, so that`s one law you never have to worry about breaking. I am curious tho...just where is the "silver lining" in that law? As for your incomprehensible "just like i would rather some burglar had my stuff than i had to live behind bars and alarms..." comment....well, you sir, are a class A moronic idiot. I mean, if you allow a burgler to have your stuff (which, you wouldn`t), what would you have when you got out? From now on, think before you post. Then again, if you did think, you wouldn`t post at all......

I have a friend who had to go for an operation and as the hospital didn`t have something more appropriate to hand to replace what they took out, they just sewed a ping pong ball in in it`s place. I bet you think this is a load of balls, but I can assure you that it is true.
