uhh FBL....since Duck is the manager at this time, why can't he get a letter to the fans out on the Blue Cheer website. I know the fans who saw Cheer last year would have no problem with that, seeing as Dickie probably doesn't have access much of the time. We all appreciated Dickie's newsletter when he wrote it. But it has been awhile for him to write anything new. I would be curious if he is doing anything with the gig tapings that were sent to him.
So as it goes.....just pass it on....

I think that, in order to be moved from being a "junior member" and go to the next level, you have to pay the administrator an annual fee.

Yeah the thing is a bit old & tired. But for those of you who didn't get to read past interviews with Randy (I believe some of them are linked to his website), a lot of what the mysterious Festooned Piglips (whoever the fuck he is) writes is most likely meant to be a parody of things that were said. Plus, the whole issue of the trademark definitely did not help things. Festooned Piglips is Randy's "dog". I'm guessing Randy couldn't handle BC's successful tour last year. ;D |

I would say that Randy didn`t even know that Blue Cheer were touring last year, and if he did, he couldn`t care less. In all probability, he doesn`t even know that this particular message board exists either, and couldn`t care less about it if it did. He used to post on the old board under the pseudonym of `deepbluesea` but that was years ago and only then it was to have fun with Uncle Eric. But then, everybody had fun with Uncle Eric and his forty nine other aliases.

I've been sitting back and watching the weirdness that has pervaded this board as of late, and just scratch my head, wondering what it's all about.
I've refrained from posting because of this, but I have reached a point where I cannot stand it anymore.
Has it occured to anyone that the mysterious (And anal) Festooned Piglips may be Eric himself?
Or perhaps it's just a crazed fan making fun of Randy's claims; I.E. The band is his because he influenced them, or the aforementioned attempt to copyright their name, etc.?
Or maybe this Piglips fella is Randy himself, or one of his friends? I highly doubt that it's Randy, as he has generally stopped posting on these kind of boards long ago, but it may be one of his tight circle of friends.
Who knows.
All I know is, this Piglips person (Entity?) is pretty well driven with the whole "Randy-Holden-Is-God" thing, and it's pretty bizarre.
Just my 2 1/2 cents.

At first I thought it was Robb Noxious.....but he is an actual fan. These posts by FPL are just wierd as you say and probably meant as a joke but also deriding..

Maybe Festooned Piglips thought that Randy was at his best with Blue Cheer, and can't stand to see BC touring without Randy in the band.

Eric used to come up with some howlers for pseudonyms. Everybody knew who Mr Foo was. I can`t remember all of them but he was Farmer Wump, who was a South African farmer, and he was Peter Wagner`s fourteen and a half year old daughter, which was pretty amazing `cause Peter had been dead about twenty years. The thing was with the original message board was that when you posted, your IP address came up as well. So there`s two IP addresses coming up all the time and all these hilarious names, and then he must have forgotten which one was posting from which computer and got them mixed up. It was pretty easy usually to tell that it was Eric because you soon got used to the way he wrote, and sometimes his spelling was awful, like he was stoned when he was hitting the keys and never bothered reading it back before he hit the `send` button. But just now, I am really amazed, because I was convinced that Poopypants was Festooned Piglips, and I guess I`m wrong. He (if it`s a he) certainly writes like the Poopypants of old used to.
