Well ANYWAY more importantly....today is the 37th anniversary of the release of one of the LOUDEST and HEAVIEST albums ever....Black Sabbath's debut! Why hasn't anyone said anything about that! Bunch of Wankers!!! Yeah, and they've gotten more credit and attention than any band ever deserved - I'll take the first BC LP over anything Sabbath ever did! It makes them sound like Perry Como! ;D Hey- FBL go 'bark at the moon' (I know that's Ozzie solo, not Sabbath, but you catch my snow drift) Did someone mention Perry Como?!?!?!?!?! Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day For love may come and tap you on the shoulder Some starless night Just in case you feel you wanna hold her You’ll have a pocketful of starlight Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day For love may come and tap you on the shoulder Some starless night And just in case you feel you wanna hold her You’ll have a pocketful of starlight Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day For when your troubles start multiplyin’ And they just might It’s easy to forget them without tryin’ With just a pocketful of starlight Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day Save it for a rainy day

Hey Babylon, Did you hear about the potential Led Zep reunion that is being discussed? I wonder if they'll charge more for tickets than Cream did (sorry Mikey...I had to go off topic again...). If Zep does charge that much (and let's face it -they fucking can and will) - I'll be hitting you up for some coin at the North Star BC gig FBL! Good historical perspective by the 'blues man' - we can't forget Jimi - I always felt as if Paul Whaley's drumming style on 'outsideinside' was greatly influenced by Mitch Mitchell from the Experience. (only amped-up to hyper speed) As for you Rex and the Perry Como lyrics - take it easy on the Flomax pills, dude

As Dickie said to me last time the Cheer played the Northstar Bar: (not an exact quote) "It's bullshit for Cream to charge $300 bucks for a ticket. They're keeping rock & roll away from the people who really need it!"
Rock on Brother Dickie!

No one is worth paying over $300.00 per ticket to go see perform especially when a band like Led Zep who are way way past their prime......that's when it becomes corporate rock and therfore I cannot support a band when they start forgetting where they have come from
BC destroys all of these bands and you would never see them charge that kind of money - I think that what Cream did in 2005 charging $400.00 a pop was a disgrace on their part plus they cannot even play like they used to - I mean who the f--k are they kidding?....there comes a point no matter who it is you have to put your foot down and say enough is enough I will not pay these ridiculous prices just to go see a show...
I had to speak my peace on this

What about artists who charge $25 for a home made CD-R and an additional $25 to have them autographed. I believe these are called Printers Proofs.

I had to speak my peace on this I wouldn't either. But there are people that are stupid enough to pay $400 a ticket to see Cream. I don't know what BC charges for tickets, but from what I can tell it's quite reasonable, and you get more bang for your dollar when you go to a BC show

This is exactly what’s wrong with the world of sports and the music biz,…there are always the ones who still pay the money and patronize it therefore they know that they can getaway with charging those exorbitant prices……I was going to go see Paul McCartney on his last tour but once I heard what the ticket prices were going for....$400.00 was the starting price and that was up in the nose bleeds so forget what the orchestra seats were going for….I figured I’ll just wait ‘til it comes out on DVD and just see his performance then besides I saw him in’89,’93 and 2002 and he was phenomenal but as great as he is I will NOT pay that much money to see him or anyone else for that matter,...plus once it reaches to that point the artist is really out of touch with his or her fans

Eric Clapton is coming to Fargo, ND (my home town), tickets for the show are $61 and $76.50 For me that's a little too much, but for the rest of you guys, would you pay $61 to see Clapton?

No, I wouldn't pay that much to see Clapton, but then I have never been a fan of his. Have to agree with FBL about Black Sabbath. great band! I saw them twice in the 70s. One time the opening band was Van Halen, the other time it was Judas Priest.

I understand that $400 bucks a ticket is crazy, but those tickets sold out in two hours.... When I bought the new Cream DVD I was very disappointed, so I definitely wouldn't spend that much. Cream is one of my top 5 favorites bands though.... Even though Clapton is my second favorite guitar player behind Hendrix aka God, I wouldn't spend close to $100 to see him because he plays his solo material. I prefer early Clapton, Blues and the Cream/Blind Faith stuff. O yea, Sabbath is great

When was that video made? I didn't realize Paul played with Randy these days. Actually, I think that's a video of the REAL Blue Cheer, with Randy on guitar, Paul on drums, and, well, you know who on bass. I guess if you can't get Dickie, any bass player plucked off the street will do. Hey, it's Randy's band after all, so it doesn't really matter who is in Blue Cheer, as long as Randy is there.

continued references made to Randy Holden are totally insignificant as his part in Blue Cheer -totally insignificant . He was a fill in , nothing more , a shame the highlight of his musical life is Blue Cheer so we have to hear about it at all.
